University of Cambridge Primary School is a three-form entry primary school set up by the University of Cambridge that opened in 2015 as the first University Teaching School in the country. The school is located in a new housing development ten minutes outside from the centre of Cambridge. The development, which is still being built, will have 3,500 houses for the private market and for keyworkers. Because of the name of the school, it needed little marketing. Despite the school opening before the families moved in, the school was heavily oversubscribed in its first year.
