Tauheedul Education Trust: 'Our GCSE results show the free schools programme is transforming the education'

This year at Tauheedul Islam Boys’ High School in Blackburn 95% of students achieved A*-C grades in their GCSE English and maths. This is an absolutely great accomplishment by the school for their first cohort of GCSE pupils. Hamid Patel, who is the CEO of the Tauheedul Education Trust which runs the school has written a comment piece for TES on the successes of the Trust and the positive impact their schools have had on the local community.
