Dixons Academies Trust is the second highest performing trust nationally for the second year running

Thursday, February 6, 2020
Today the Department for Education released MAT performance tables for 2019 Key Stage 4 results. Dixons Academies Trust is the second highest performing trust nationally for the second year running, making it the third time the MAT has been placed in the top three in the three years it has qualified for the performance tables.

Dixons Academies Trust CEO, Sir Nick Weller said:

"It's a great credit to our students and staff to be the second highest performing trust in the country. Even more pleasing we have been in the top three for each of the three years we have qualified for these tables.  In line with our mission, the performance of disadvantaged students was especially strong, and again drove our success this year.  This was all achieved with an unapologetic focus on the EBacc: we transform lives and open up opportunities by delivering a predominantly academic curriculum with higher-end grades in high-value qualifications."
