Corby Technical School rated Outstanding by Ofsted

The secondary school, which opened in 2012, has been praised by Ofsted inspectors and awarded an Outstanding rating.

The school's principal Angela Reynolds said: "We are thrilled that the excellent work that is going on within our school by staff and students has been recognised by the inspectors.

"When we opened, the ethos was that our students were pioneers of a school determined to provide first class learning and this is proving to be the case."

Design and technology subjects form a particular focus of the school and innovative teaching methods are used. Wednesday afternoons are dedicated to studying the STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths).
