Nishkam Primary School Birmingham is a school with a Sikh ethos that opened in 2011. The school was established by a community group and is part of the Nishkam School Trust, which runs a number of ‘Outstanding’ free schools. It has two forms of entrty and uses a values-led curriculum to make sure that all its pupils develop academically and socially in a calm and harmonious environment. The school believes in the importance of spirituality, as this widens horizons and raises aspirations, as well as promoting well-being.
