Everton Free School is an alternative provision school for those aged 14-19 in Liverpool. The school opened in 2012 and can cater for up to 200 pupils who are not thriving in mainstream education. It was established by Everton in the Community, the charity affiliated with Everton Football Club. The school offers educational support and wrap-around care for those aged 14-16 and Levels 2 and 3 in sports courses to post-16 students. On Fridays pupils have the opportunity to follow the 'Free to Choose' study programme where they can take up a subject or activity which is outside of the core curriculum.
