ARK Atwood Primary Academy

A mainstream primary school in Westminster. The school, which opened in 2011, was established by the educational charity ARK and was set up to meet a shortage of school places in a deprived area. It will serve 450 pupils when open and has a mathematics and performing arts focus. The school day lasts from 8.30am to 4pm, allowing additional time for English and mathematics  as well as music and PE. In 2013 the school was one of the first free schools to be inspected by Ofsted and was judged to be ‘Outstanding’ in all categories.
