Support for special free schools through NSN and NASS partnership

New Schools Network (NSN) and the National Association of Independent and Non-Maintained Special Schools (NASS) are delighted to be working together to offer support to special free schools.

NSN has a key role in helping free schools post-approval, and is now working with NASS, which has a strong reputation for supporting and representing non-LA schools, to provide a support system for special free schools once they are up and running.

What does this mean for my school?

Your school can get involved in the following ways:

1.      Receive 25% off NASS training events throughout 2017 and 2018, including statutory safeguarding training for schools. See details and book quoting code NSNASS0818 at www.nasschools.org.uk/events

2.      Join NASS and get tailored support, advice and information, as well as fortnightly e-news with the latest SEN developments, access to our publications and training, representation at the highest level for your concerns, and access to a network of other non-LA school colleagues who meet regularly to provide peer support. NASS are currently offering special free schools a 50% discount on their first year’s subscription to NASS through this partnership with NSN. You can join, quoting NSNASS0818 for the discounted rate at www.nasschools.org.uk/become-member
