Join NSN for a Spotlight visit to the Lighthouse School Leeds on Wednesday 13th November. Fill out the sign-up form above.
Spotlight visits are half-day events aimed at senior leaders from open, pre-open and applicant free school groups. The host school provides several presentations to share their best practice and discuss their free school journey, along with a tour of the school to see the great work they are doing in action.
Spotlight visits are free to attend.
The Lighthouse School was one of the first special free schools to open in 2012. They provide 67 places for students with autistic spectrum conditions, aged 11-19.
The school was rated Good in 2014, and retained this rating during their short inspection in 2017.
Sessions will review: how leaders prepared for their first and second Ofsted inspections, how they have developed effective commissioning relationships with the Local Authority, and how they have ensured financial stability. This is a fantastic opportunity to see an innovative and successful free school in action.
This Spotlight has been designed to meet the needs of senior leaders from open, pre-open and applicant free schools. Each group can sign up two attendees.
