A new primary Free School in Corby has been approved to open by the Department for Education.

The David Ross Education Trust was behind the proposal and Chief Executive Wendy Marshall was delighted with the news and looking forward to building on the impressive progress their existing academies have made.

The school, which is set to open in 2015, will cater for 420 pupils when full.
