Thames Valley School

Thames Valley School is an all-through 4-16 special school in Reading for those with autistic spectrum conditions. The school, which opened in 2013, was established by a partnership of local parents, senior leaders from existing special schools and the National Autistic Society. It can cater for up to 54 pupils, offering a specialist environment and higher staff to pupil ratios than a mainstream school to help pupils succeed academically. The school seeks to give its students a solid foundation of skills so that they can play their part in society and prepare for further study, university and employment.
