Heyford Park Free School

Heyford Park Free School is an all-through school for those aged 3-19 in Oxfordshire. The school, which opened in 2013, can cater for up to 840 pupils. It was founded by local parents with the intention of making the transition from primary to secondary school easier for students. The school is located in a former RAF and US Air Force base, and the main academic hub is in the former Officers’ mess. The school also makes use of a large American-style sports centre which offers pupils the chance to use high-quality basketball courts, baseball diamonds, gym facilities and an athletics track. The school offers extensive enrichment activities including badminton, football and taekwondo.
