Dixons Trinity Academy is a secondary school in Bradford. The school, which opened in 2012, is part of the successful Dixons Academies Charitable Trust and can cater for up to 720 pupils. The school believes that assessment is the bridge between teaching and learning which means that every lesson has these features at its core. They also use a range of innovative teaching methods, such as ideas from Uncommon Schools in the US and American educator Doug Lemov. The school also runs an extended day from 8.30 to 16.15, which allows time for electives such as public speaking, sign language and fencing.
