Churchill Special Free School caters for those aged 8 to 18 with Speech, Language and Communication needs in Haverhill, Suffolk. The school, which opened in 2013, is part of the Unity Schools Partnership and can take up to 70 students at a time. The school has been designed so as to best serve the needs of its pupils and has facilities such as a science lab and cookery and art rooms. The school follows the National Curriculum in general, but with some flexibility to suit individual students. There are also enrichment activities available three days a week which include life skills and debating. In 2015, Ofsted judged the school to be 'Outstanding' in all areas.
