Introduction
The most successful Free School groups are those with a diverse range of individuals, skills and contacts. NSN encourages groups to share their experiences and to make contact with interested individuals in their area. Through connections with professional bodies and employers NSN can also help to put Free School groups in touch with people who wish to volunteer or offer pro-bono services in support of their proposal. Our networking area offer various tools to help.

Our forums will allow groups to share their experiences. Anyone can read the Open forums, but you will need to Log in or Sign up to comment or post new topics. Users who have signed up may also be invited to participate in our closed, member-only Free School forums.

Volunteers directory
Groups currently working on a Free School application, schools that are already open and schools in pre-opening can use the NSN networking tool to find people with particular skills nearby and contact them directly through our system. NSN has guidance on making the best use of volunteers here. Creating a profile will allow potential volunteers and service providers (commercial, charitable and pro-bono) to make contact with Free Schools groups and be contacted by them.
