We will hold several Getting Started events around England. The content will be repeated at each Getting Started session so it is only necessary for groups to attend one.
Who should attend?
- Groups new to NSN
- Groups who have never had application support from NSN
- Groups who need help ensuring their plans meet the DfE’s expectations
Outcomes
- An in-depth understanding of what the Free Schools policy is and the Department for Education’s requirements
- How NSN helps groups and the services available
- What is expected from an educational vision and how groups can develop this
- Ways groups can build capacity and capability and what all groups must do to meet demand
- Talks will be given by NSN and Free School openers and successful applicants
